Please note: We introduced TorqTronics 2 in 2013 because of increasing difficulties in obtaining parts for the TorqTronics units. Electronic parts change over time. They are redesigned to become more energy efficient. Changes have also been made to electronics to become more environmentally friendly. 

The parts inventory that we built prior to 2013 has been depleted. 

We continue to repair TorqTronics units where we can. Since we cannot source all of the parts, some repairs may not be possible. 

Our tools and testers are known for their legendary durability. It is not uncommon for our testers to last more than 20 years. You typically don't find that with other brands. You can be comfortable buying our tools and testers knowing that you will get the lowest cost of ownership in the industry.

TorqTronics Digital Torque Tester

Sturtevant Richmont invented the first torque analyzers and torque testers. Those inventions shaped both the manufacturing and the torque tool industry.

Like all Sturtevant Richmont tools, Torq-Tronics 2 is built for accuracy and durability and meets or exceeds the following standards:

  • ASME B107.300 - 2010 Electronic Tester, Hand Torque Tools
  • ISO 5393 Rotary tools for threaded fasteners- Performance test methods.
  • ASME B107.4M Driving and Spindle Ends for Portable Hand, Impact, Air, and Electric Tools (Percussion Tools Excluded).
  • ISO 1773 Assembly Tools for Bolts and Screws – Driving Squares for Power Socket Wrenches and Hand Socket Wrenches.

Torq-Tronics display has a floating-point decimal resolution showing 6 digits throughout. Combine that with an accuracy of 1% (indicated value) from 10% to 100% and Torq-Tronics capabilities give you control of your torque testing program.

The Torq-Tronics line of Digital Torque Testers is ideal for interim or daily torque testing programs for clicker torque wrenches, cam over, torque tools, torque screwdrivers, and non-impact power tools.

TorqTronics Features:

  • Includes 120-240 VAC to 6 VDC screw-on power supply for security during power tool testing.
  • Runs on four AA NiMH rechargeable batteries. Batteries are sold separately.
  • A quick charge battery unit is available.

  • Includes a rugged blow-molded plastic box for storage and transit.
    • Power Tool mode has ten filters and will accurately test all clutch types and pulse tools.
