Transducers

Many of you have had the System 4/5 since it first came to market. Many of you still want to buy the transformers that work with that System 4/5. We are happy to take care of that for you. 

PLEASE NOTE: With technology changes, compatibility issues can arise. If you are ordering a transducer for System 4/5 please see the transducer chart on the System 4/5 page. This ensures compatibility. 

The new System 8 created an opportunity to refine our transducer line. We have reduced the line down to three (3) simple categories without sacrificing flexibility. You can still cover all your torque calibration needs with the testers in these three lines. 

  • TT Series - Built on the SR hex flange. 
  • TT-QC Series - Quick Connect System for rapid transducer changes.
  • TT-L Series - Built-in L-bracket for horizontal or vertical mounting.

Understanding Model Designation

In our model designation column, you will see different alpha characters following the numerical model designation.

Part number 10009 has a model designation of TT 25 IO. The TT identifies the transducer model series. The 25 identified the capacity.  The IO following the capacity identifies the units of measure. In this case, the TT 25 IO tells us that this TT series transducer has a capacity of 25-inch ounces. 

Part number 10285 has a model designation of TT 10 I. In this case, the capacity is 10, and the units of measure are inch-pounds.

Where there is no unit of measure designation immediately following the capacity, foot-pounds is the standard unit of measure. If you see a metric designation following the capacity, like Nm or Newton Metres,  are metric. 

This system applies to all of our tools. Here we have seen the examples for torque transducers. The system applies to our wrenches and screwdrivers.
