Transducers for System 4/5 and PTM

S/R is proud to announce the development of new designs for the System 4/5 transducers - designs offering increased flexibility as well as our legendary quality!

Most System 4/5 transducers now come in three designs; a traditional flanged design for those with existing systems that are expanding their line or wish a traditional approach, a Quick Connect design for use with our 1000 and 2000 pound capacity Mechanical Loaders, and a new "L" design that incorporates its' own mounting bracket for rapid horizontal or vertical mounting. In addition, our latest designs incorporate a bearing built into the housing to dramatically reduce the effect of side load of the transducer, increasing repeatability!

Traditional Flanged Design - The STT-P

• Integrates readily into existing System 4/5 installations.

• Can be used with the ML-250 Mechanical Loader.

• An upgrade path to "QC" type is available if an S/R 1000 or 2000 foot pound capacity Mechanical Loader is purchased later!

• The anodized aluminum housing preserves mounting strength while it reduces weight.

• Uses an interchangeable cable; this speeds relocation in mobile use and eliminates costly repairs to the transducer in the event of cable damage.

• Can be rapidly adapted to a horizontal orientation with our Transducer Mounting Brackets.

• Measuring element made of stainless steel alloy.

Quick-Connect Design - The STT-QC

• Incorporates a drive spline plate for use with the S/R ML 1000 and ML 2000 mechanical and loaders, as well as with the S/R Programmable Torque Measurement machine.

• Significantly speeds the physical changeover of transducers when torque tools requiring different transducer ranges are needed; it's a matter of seconds!
  _
• Much lighter in weight than earlier transducers.

• The Quick Connect spline adapter is removable if the transducer is used on a ML 250 mechanical loader.

• Uses an interchangeable cable; only the cable need be replaced if accidentally damaged.

L Design - The STT-L

• Incorporates a built-in "L" for rapid mounting in either the vertical OR horizontal planes!

• The mounting holes are aligned with the center of the transducer in each plane to promote mounting stability.
  _
• Detachable cable for mobile use and to speed cable replacement in case of accidental damage.
