LTCR series tools are designed for one purpose - to permit the accurate, highly reliable delivery of preset torque in high volume, high throughput assembly environments where ratcheting is desired due to limited access or more than 120° of rotation is required. Adjustments to torque settings can only be made with a Combination Adjusting and Release Tool (CART) to prevent tampering on the production line.
The CART tool both adjusts the torque and locks the setting in when the tool is preset using a torque tester or analyzer. The LTCR design also permits the use of visible anti-tamper barriers, permitting the rapid visual verification of torque setting integrity!
A new extension is available for all LTC/LTCR/LTCS torque wrenches of 1800 inch pound capacity and below. This extension permits adding up to 7” in tool length for greater ease of use. Click here for the details!
