For Immediate
Release
Sturtevant
Richmont has designed and developed three new lines of torque
transducers for use with their System 4/5 Digital Torque Tester.
The STT-L
Series features an L-shaped mount integrated into the frame
to expedite mounting to a vertical or horizontal surface. The
predrilled mounting holes are aligned to the center of the transducer
in either orientation for positive stability under load. The new
transducers weigh less to permit easy transport, even though they
retain S/R's traditional use of stainless steel for the measuring
element. They are accurate from 10% to 100% of rated capacity,
and are available in the most popular sizes.
The STT-QC
Series features an adapter plate to permit quick physical connection
to the S/R ML1000 or ML 2000 Mechanical Loaders. This series retains
the S/R stainless steel measuring element, yet features reduced
weight through a new aluminum frame. This series is also accurate
from 10% to 100% of capacity, and the new detachable cable increases
ease of installation on the loader.
The STT-P
Series is the direct replacement for the earlier TT Series in
most sizes. These feature a detachable cable for easier installation,
and the new aluminum frame retains the earlier bolt pattern. This
facilitates mounting to S/R's ML 250 Mechanical Loader, as well
as to earlier accessories.
