is the latest addition to the S/R lineup of accurate, durable,
and versatile assembly and auditing tools. Exacta's extraordinary
combination of features provides an array of benefits for assembly

Large,
bright, LCD display for ease of reading.
The design instruction to Engineering was simple: "You have
to be able to read the torque at arm's length in shadow."
This emulates the conditions often found in assembly and auditing
operations, where visual conditions are often less than ideal.
They achieved it! Exacta® uses a large, high-contrast LCD
to display the torque and other critical information. You CAN
read it at arm's length - in shadow!
Rotating
electronics housing for ease of use in restricted-access applications.
The electronics housing on Exacta™ rotates 60° around the
tool's axis to assist in viewing the reading when used in awkward
orientations or tight areas. Combined with the high-contrast display,
this eases use in many applications!
Three
modes of operation - Track, Peak and Residual.
Assembly and auditing are both accommodated with these two modes!
The new residual mode improves torque audit consistency in most hard and some medium joints.
Programmable
torque limits with visual and audible torque notification.
Want an audible prompt when you've reached the torque specification?
Exacta® has it! When you register your warranty, download our FREE
Exawin software and program the maximum and minimum torque limits.
Exacta® will beep when you reach the minimum, letting you stop
torquing at just the right time. It will also notify you if you
accidentally overtorque the fastener!
Exacta
uses the S/R Interchangeable Head System.
The S/R line of Interchangeable Heads provides exceptional strength
and rigidity of connection through our unique dovetail connection.
Virtually all of these heads are made from a single piece of alloy
steel, which assures durability and strength. With over 100 heads
of 1 7/16" Common Centerline Length to choose from, the versatility
of your Exacta™ is multiplied greatly!
999
Memory Locations
Need to check the last 1 to 999 installation torques? Simply access
the memory and scroll through the values! Better yet, download
the entire memory via the serial port to your computer for statistical
analysis and record keeping!
Serial
computer communications
Exacta® comes with a serial cable for communication with
a PC, and can download readings as they are taken, or in a batch
mode! The readings can be saved as a text file, and imported by
almost any statistical or spreadsheet software. This is an invaluable
aid when performing process design and process analysis!
Exawin
software
We have developed a software program specifically for programming
Exacta® from a PC. The Exawin software permits downloading
maximum and minimum torque limits, units of measure, and other
key operating functions directly from a PC, and it does so with
ease and simplicity! Exawin is available for immediate download
from this site, and details for warranty registration and software
download are provided with each tool. Don't fail to take advantage
of this software and the capabilities it affords!
Onboard
programming via four keyswitches.
Four keyswitches on the front of the Exacta® electronics
module permit programming and operation of almost all functions
(maximum and minimum limits excepted). Whether accessing the memory
or setting the units of measure, printing/downloading the stored
values or clearing the memory, operation is simple and easy!
Exacta® comes with a FREE certification from our ISO/IEC 17025 Accredited Calibration Laboratory!
Long
battery life
Exacta® is powered by four (4) AA batteries,
and operates for thousands of cycles on each charge.
Three
models span the torque range from 60 in. lbs. to 150 ft. lbs.!
Exacta® is offered in three models: Exacta® 25, Exacta® 75, and Exacta® 150. The +/- 1% I.V. accuracy down to 20%
of minimum capacity in each model means there is an Exacta® that's the right size for your need!
