Left hand threaded fasteners are rare, but are used in some specific applications. To use an S/R interchangeable head on one, simply put the head on reversed and use the torque wrench as usual. The wrench will still have its’ normal accuracy.

Step 1
Find the direction arrow on the torque wrench. The arrow points down, or clockwise, which is correct for right-hand threaded fasteners.

Step 2
Turn the wrench over. The arrow now points counter-clockwise, or in the left-hand tightening direction.
Step 3
Install the head oriented towards the fastener.
Step 4
Adjust or set the torque as usual.

Step 5
Turn the wrench over and tighten the left hand threaded fastener(s) with the company name and torque arrow facing the fastener.

Step 6
Remove the head so no one can accidentally use the wrench in the wrong direction.
